Child Sponsorship
CHILD SPONSORSHIP
African Action International works in Kenya, Uganda and South Sudan to rescue children and give them hope.
Your Sponsorship contributes toward schooling costs and daily care needs and through this brings hope into their lives to dream and work towards a better future for themselves, their family and community.
Child Sponsorship is $50 per month for Primary School, $70 per month for Secondary School children and $120 per month for Tertiary and Vocational courses.
Those entering Secondary School, College and Tertiary levels have significant costs for fees, texts and information technology. They also need support for housing and food as they usually need to be near their learning institution.
Sponsorship can be a regular donation or given as a lump sum.
Rural communities within nations such as Kenya, Uganda and South Sudan are especially vulnerable as they lack the resources to implement backup strategies to help themselves when impacted by unexpected emergencies.
Drought, famines, pestilence, disease, thefts, family breakdowns and premature deaths are a constant threat to people. Limited or the absence of government welfare supports, no insurances and limited costly medical care leaves the people vulnerable. There is no plan B for those in the impoverished communities where AAI works.
Gifts have built new iron roofs for widows homes, assistance during droughts with purchases of water and/or bore construction, meet medical expenses, help for people to bury their loved ones with dignity and so on.
Our heart is to build a reserve fund for Emergency Care.

We welcome business minded support and subject to directive criteria, can arrange tax deductibility for some projects.
Partnering contributes to supporting our faithful co-workers and proven national leaders of the works in East Africa and South Sudan.

Our Partnering contributions are aimed at sending up to $400 per month, depending on the level of responsibility undertaken. We support medical and social workers, administrators, pastors and the inspirational founders of initiatives that are bringing about community transformation. They support orphaned children, children at risk, widows and community programs for food and water security in impoverished areas.

Your support will empower these national leaders with the care, resources and leadership training they desperately need. They are always giving to their communities, even out of their own meagre resources.
